It is with great excitement, even with some feelings of imposter syndrome creeping in, that we can announce the book is published, printed, and in our hands. Please go forth and find a copy. Yes, it is priced for the academic market and is a bit unapproachable for the regular reader, but I am urging people to ask their libraries for it, so that they can read it, and then they can recommend it to others.
The academic audience will include a lot of culture studies, popular culture, and media studies audiences… but I have been assured that gamers, game designers, comic book creators and consumers, and fandoms of ever style and fashion will also be very interested in what is inside.
